What makes the GS 10-2 TTS unique is its automatic product detection: sensors and PLC control detect the beginning and end of each item. This enables the machine to calculate exactly how many cuts are needed for the desired thickness, reducing waste and increasing output.
The Top-Tail function allows the GS 10-2 TTS to automatically remove the ends of products such as carrots or cucumbers, ensuring only the usable part is processed. The knife is servo-driven and starts cutting only when the product reaches the end of the infeed belt, delivering precise and consistent results. The extended infeed belt can be equipped with a trimming station, enabling multiple operators to work simultaneously and boost productivity.
If the TTS function is not needed, the machine can operate as a standard GS 10-2, suitable for cutting, grating, shredding, or dicing various foods such as lettuce, herbs, meat, fish, bread, cheese, and nuts.
